A good fit

You ever lost a friend?

Not time and space slipped

But lost a friend like a lost sweater

You remember having it

And you placed it somewhere

And now you cannot find it

So you check your drawers

Not there

Check the dryer

Not there

Check your kid's closet

Not there

After a while you move on

You know you lost that sweater

But it is no longer important to find

You have a new sweater that is warm

Not the same as the old one

But it makes you happy

Maybe I will find it again

But will it still fit?
